Licence endorsement follows the relevant authorityโ€™s procedures. France, Switzerland, Denmark and Austria require specific forms or additional steps. For other countries, please contact us before booking.

What is the difference between Level 4 only and the assessment up to Level 6?

Level 4 only assesses ICAO Level 4 exclusively and costs โ‚ฌ159. The ICAO Level 4 ยท 5 ยท 6 option costs โ‚ฌ189 and assesses proficiency up to Level 6. In both cases, your result depends on your demonstrated skills. A valid referral code reduces either price by โ‚ฌ10 for a new candidate.

Do I have to buy an English course before the exam?

No. If you already have the required English skills, you can book and take the exam directly. A preparation course may help you improve your English, but purchasing one is not a requirement for taking the assessment.

How do I apply to my CAA for a licence endorsement?

Once you receive your certificate, you can apply to your Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for a language proficiency endorsement on your licence. Submitting an application and receiving the endorsement are separate steps: acceptance, processing and timing follow your authorityโ€™s requirements. Tell us which authority issued your licence before the session so we can check the applicable requirements.

Is the exam fully online?

Yes. The session takes place remotely. After booking, you receive the link to complete registration; Edoardo will send your exam joining instructions separately.

Who can take the exam?

The exam is open to student pilots without a licence, general aviation pilots, commercial pilots, helicopter pilots, cabin crew and ground staff. The assessment focuses on language proficiency.

Is Level 6 guaranteed?

No. With the ICAO Level 4 ยท 5 ยท 6 option, your awarded level depends on the proficiency demonstrated. Level 4 only assesses Level 4 exclusively and does not award Levels 5 or 6. Passing the exam is not guaranteed.

How long is the appointment?

The exam lasts up to 30 minutes. Your booking shows the date and time of your session.

How much does the exam cost and how do I pay?

Choose the ICAO Level 4 ยท 5 ยท 6 assessment for โ‚ฌ189, or Level 4 only for โ‚ฌ159. New candidates with a valid referral code pay โ‚ฌ179 or โ‚ฌ149 respectively. Payment through PayPal confirms your chosen date and time.

Can I ask a question before booking?

Of course. Use โ€œMake an enquiryโ€: your message goes directly to Edoardo, who will reply personally. An enquiry does not reserve a slot.

How do I complete registration after booking?

After your booking is confirmed, you receive an email in English with the date, time and link to finalise registration. Complete the form before your appointment: the exam cannot take place if registration is incomplete. Edoardo will send your exam joining instructions separately.

How does the referral programme work?

Enter a code from an Aviation LPE candidate when booking. If this is your first exam and the code is valid, you save โ‚ฌ10: Level 4 only is reduced from โ‚ฌ159 to โ‚ฌ149; the assessment up to Level 6 is reduced from โ‚ฌ189 to โ‚ฌ179. After a confirmed purchase, you will receive a code to share.
